3-Step Lawn Care Program
Our program consists of a Spring, Summer, and Fall Weed and Feed application. Each application is formulated for the season and includes balanced fertilizer, weed control and a high-quality iron-sulfur supplement.

Insect/Disease Control
Green Horizons offers preventative applications for insects and diseases. We also respond
quickly when you notice browning or irregular patterns developing in your lawn.
Weed Control
We can control most weeds in driveways, roadways, ditches, vacant lots and grazing areas without damage to native grasses or trees!
Aeration
The clay soil in Eastern Colorado prevents water, air and fertilizer from penetrating to the grass root zone. Aeration is a very beneficial treatment for this type of soil because it breaks through dense thatch and opens up the soil to permit free movement of these nutrients for a healthier lawn.

Sprinkler Repair/Installation
Installing an underground sprinkler system is an easy and fool-proof way to make sure your lawn is well taken care of during the dry months we experience in eastern Colorado. Our sprinkler technicians can evaluate sprinkler valves for leaks and blockages, sprinkler heads for damage, sprinkler effectiveness and system clocks and settings.

Tree Spraying
We spray trees of all varieties for disease and insects to help them look their very best and to maintain healthy growth. We help diagnose symptoms and can set you up on a
tree spraying schedule that suits your needs.

Green Horizons lays cement curbing which can be designed in many shapes and colors. What a great way to establish outdoor traffic patterns, create boundaries for plants, shrubs, and trees, or establish corners and borders. We also sell rock and mulch to help complete your landscaping project. We'll be happy to help you plan a customized landscaping design for your yard!

Lawn Overseeding
Overseeding (planting new grass seed directly into existing turf without tearing up the turf or the soil) is the easiest way to fill in bare spots, improve the density of turf, establish improved grass varieties and enhance your lawn's color. This also helps an older lawn withstand insects, disease, drought, shady conditions and heavy traffic. A renovated lawn stays greener and looks thicker and healthier.

Pet Safe
All of our products are pet safe!
We want you to know that all of the chemicals that we use at Green Horizons are labeled safe for pets. As a caution, we do ask that you keep your furry friends off of the treated area until dry, approximately 20-30 minutes. We take pride that in the over 30 years we have been in business, we are not aware of any animal ever getting sick from our applications.
